Too much work. Somebody needs to invent a string sprayer that shoots lights out instead of silly string.

There's alot of old folks in my neighborhood who really can't climb ladders and stuff so they buy those spot light that project red/green speckles all over the house. I think it makes it look like gift wrap which is kinda cool

After the "terrible cocoon hatching incident of 2002" we'll NEVER have a real tree in our house again. Now, 15 years of putting up the same 9' full bush artificial tree with the same ornaments we decided to try a new sparse frosted tree. It won't have decorations on until this weekend, but I kind of like it as it is for now. We'll prob go back to green next year, but it'll be a good change of pace every couple of years.

Our 2002 tree that we cut down from a local tree farm came with hidden praying mantis egg cases attached ...free of charge.

We didn't see them because the tree was so lush and full. A "perfect storm" of mild temps that fall and our heating system caused them all to hatch on Christmas Eve. Those F'ers were everywhere!
