GT-R vs Z06 vs Viper vs GT2

Well, somehow I have a feeling this is a repost

but oh well:

Lap times:

1. Viper 1:55.7 / 84.0 mph
2. GT2 1:59.7 / 81.2 mph
3. GTR 2:01.1 / 80.3 mph
4. Z06 2:01.7 / 79.9 mph

GT-R beat the Z06 again on the track. WTF??

I'm no fan of the GT-R, but it's performance for a 3800 lbs car is fucking impressive!

how the fuck did GT2 get beat by a fucking viper? lol

looks like they know how to drive 6MT's, but didnt really know how to drive the GTR

Thats the new Viper with 600hp and I believe it's some kind of race/competition version. It's actually pretty awesome.

yah i love the viper, it has the nicest stance of all 4 cars in that pic. but i still think they cant drive dct for shit

they're not rev happy engines. The viper makes its power from displacement. The Porsche makes its power from boost. Generally... you only see high revs with smaller displacement N/A engines. But, there are exceptions to every rule.

The Z06 is closer to the GTR than i expected. The Viper vs. the ZR1 is going to be a helluva race. Its funny how Vipers always get left out of the conversation.

Sound about right to me, but we will have to wait for more mags to do more testing. When the 335 came out mags had faster times compared to more recent tests.

2 Reasons: Price + Exclusivity

Although the GT2 shouldn't have been in there because of the ridiculously high price either. But it's still my pick in a heartbeat.

Still incredible, but the numbers here seem oddly... mortal. Less the world-beater than the initial numbers suggested.

gtr+nissan+ringers=hype numbers

(scary part however, is that even if they really did send some ringers out there for the mag tests...as it seems, im sure they just upped the boost .5 lbs or something much like the first 335i test that C/D did...and we all know, a half lb of boost isnt too hard to come by)
