Service Indicator Not Always Correct...

Hi, new member here....been lurking for a while but had to join. Hope this is not a repost...

Took my E90 in for CIP 20 this week and discovered something you all should be aware of. My service indicator milage was wrong. The car said 8,000 to oil change, while the key reader at the dealer said 6,7xx to oil service. After the CIP update, it is now down to 7,000, where it should be.

Jury is out on CIP 20. Hesitation is down a bit, but smoothness is down also.
