nissan g t...r you serious
first of all sorry about the lame title
I was just randomly surfing some sites and there is such a huge fuss about how great the gtr is and how dealers are selling it for way over sticker and how it laps the nurburgring blah blah Then I see that it's about 75k without the mark up and I think man I would rather have a fully optioned m3 or something before a gtr Doesn't anyone else feel like the words Japanese and sports car put together are just an oxymoron. Even if it is a steal at 75k wouldn't you rather have a real sports car like a 911 or m3. And with the car going for 25k over msrp just get an m5 or something like that I dunno if I'm alone but I just don't understand. It's got a nissan symbol on it

How's the M3 a sport car and the GT-R is not? You are tripping out of your damn mind.

Gtr is going to be a kickass car, dont hate.
I have had many nissans, they were all great cars..just because you dont see as big of numbers on the price tags on nissans than you do on bmw's..doesn't make them bad cars |

I think you have a serious branding bias, and the most exciting Japanese car you've driven is probably a FWD automatic Corolla.

Hope this helps, the car is unreal but it is not invincible (still want one in my garage though). I thought it would have eaten the vette C6 Z06 up, apparently not |

wow honestly what does a badge have to do with anything. If Hyundai bought out Lamborghini and then called them Hyundai Tornado would they have to discount even it if the quality, power, handling, etc were identical and even still made in the same factory? The GTR performs better than cars twice the price and is more sophisticated than anything in its price range. I believe the price will come down a little but people were buying the 99-01 Skylines V-Spec II from MOTOREX for over 100k. They even made an anniversary edition limited production R34 z-tune that cost 180K. Nissan makes some insane cars and the new GTR is not its first entry. JMO

bad mouthing the GTR is just blasphemy. Yes it's a Nissan and no it's not in the same class as a maxima or altima. Do more research before you make comments as ridiculous as those
