Fast & Furious: HOBBS & SHAW!
Now I don't want to here shit about how "they've miked this franchise, how many will they make, wtf, etc"!
UNIVERSAL keeps makin em' because the appetite and profits are so HUGE! That's why. Now shut up, and enjoy this Testosterone-Fueled, Supercar-Filled, Over the Top, Bullets-Flying, Ass-Kicking, Action-Packed FAST and The FURIOUS Spinoff!!!! And prepare for many more.... I actually like all of the lead actors in this so I'll be watching by default.

Ok, why not. Nothing real in this franchise but always fun and this looks like fun. Isra Elba should be kool too, but this seems like an incarnation of the character he played in that Star Trek movie......

My two favorite action heroes in one of my favorite series of all time. Fantastic.
Hilarious to read some of the Youtube comments. I guess Hobbs directing a live torpedo somehow propelling itself on ice is A-OK, or jumping a Lykan from skyscraper to skyscraper is just peachy, or having a 50 mile runway like at the end of TFAF6, but if you introduce kind of an evil super hero to the fray...well everybody just loses their minds!! Not to mention the fact that Shaw not only murdered Han, he also blew up Toretto's house but it's all good now bruh because family yo! Last edited by NickyC; 02-01-2019 at 10:36 AM.. |

Haven't watched a FF movie in forever but I'm always in for a Statham action flick.
Not that I've looked it up yet, but are the OG's of the franchise done? I previously read something about VD and DJ not getting along on set, too.

Last FF movie I saw was the sad farewell ending for PW. Need to catch up and I’ll definitely watch this.
Two things: 1) towards the end of the trailer, aim for the bushes came to my mind. 2) what ever happened to El Gato Negro? |

Interesting. I'm sure that I'll watch this but either as a download or when it makes it to the movie channels. These movies always intrigue me. Although I'm not a huge fan of the franchise, I've seen all of them and something inside me (the testosterone) enjoys it regardless of how far fetched they are. I do always find myself asking who is there target audience. I've never watched any of these films and thought to myself "That was a good movie" yet I always end up watching them. I don't feel that these films are made based on hat the audience wants to see but more-so what Hollywood "thinks" the audience wants to see......and oddly enough, we gobble up every last morsel. Either way, I'll watch it, enjoy it and laugh about it after.

Well, if anybody can steal it I'm glad it's the Rock! The addition of Statham was fantastic as well, though being accepted in the "family" after all he did is a pretty tough pill to swallow lol.
For obvious sad reasons, they did need to bring some new characters in ya know. |

The Rock is fine and dandy, but a spin off. it's disrespectful at best and total betrayal at worst.
They could have just asked Tintoretto to get big again... |
