Worst vehicle you've owned

Name the worst car you owned. Manual 2011 Nissan Frontier for me. Bought it new, sold it at 40k miles (mostly highway) a year later. Clutch out at 20k miles (known fault with Nissan and of course dealer wouldn't replace), rear main seal at 30k and alternator gone by 36k miles.

I bought a Dodge Laser used in the late 80's, what a complete piece of crap. I only had it for a few months, it fried the clutch and then started having electrical problems. It eventually fried the wiring harness on the side of a very lonely stretch of road in the middle of nowhere. If I'd had matches I would've set the POS on fire right there. Towed to a garage and when they told me how much to fix it I walked.

Hands down a 2nd Gen Neon. It was just atrocious, the suspension, especially at the front was so poor and it cost me a FORTUNE in repairs.

My 2008 9-3 wagon has cost me 45% LESS to run. Think about that.

I don't think anything can top the Russian atrocity of a car I had. It was the infamous 1988 Lada Riva. I had endless brake problem, front end suspensions problem, power steering problems along with a long list of other mechanical failures I can't even rem right now.

The only good I can rem is that I learned to drive this sucker, used it to go do my drivers licenses test and passed. Mostly because I think the examiner taught I had balls coming there with this car to do a driving test and did so well at that.

Honestly, I haven't had any terrible experiences. Worst was a used 1999 Integra LS the in laws bought for my wife before we were married. It had I think 70k on it and the engine lost all compression in 1 cylinder.

I bought a b20z for 800 bucks and swapped in a weekend though and she was back on the road with a slight upgrade.

I don't know about worst. it's not a bad car, but I feel like the m4 is the most disappointing car ive ever owned. Too high expectations, I guess.

Not that I owned it but I rented Toyota Corolla when my M3 was in the shop, and it's probably the worst car ever designed. If I hooked up my refrigerator to four wheels, that would be a Toyota Corolla.

I owned a Chevrolet berretta 5-speed one time.... what a garbage car. no suspension or steering feedback and the thing sounded like a truck. Also, it was hideous for a coupe!

Well it's a GM. I would say all pre - 2008 GM cars are garbage.

I bought a 2004 nissan pathfinder, and 10 min into my drive home the car turned off and i started smelling burning wires, turns out the Idle air valve went out and it fried the ecu. Ended up selling the car as is for a profit lol but still fuck that car.

Have a 2007 Yukon Denali, bought at 120k, now at 190k. The other week some suspension components needed to be replaced, up until then I've only changed consumables..it's been a great vehicle..except for the 12mpg combined.

I am sorry you got a bad Nissan sample. Nissan cars are actually very durable. I wouldn't hesitate owning a Nissan.

2016 Ford Explorer - I bought it new and traded it in 8 months later. I will never buy another Ford. I should have sticked to foreign cars, but the price was unbeatable in comparison to a European made SUV; but you get what you pay for.

1989 Chevrolet Corsica LTZ 3 speed auto. It had issues about every 2 weeks if not more. Probably worst interior ever, even compared to old US cars, or ages behind same year Japanese or German brands.

Garage List
2000 Mitsubishi Galant V6

Looks exactly like this:

Pros:
It's silver
4 door
Fit lots of drunk friends
V6 and 200hp was kind of fast at the time for me
I leased it so I only drove it for 3 years
Lots of good memories in there
Soft cushy ride

Cons:
It's ugly
It's actually not that fast
Easily stained light grey cloth interior
Handles like shit
Was a very boring car

It's not the worst car IN THE WORLD, and it was brand new at the time, so I had little to complain about. It was just that I could have had a much more fun car. I'm not even sure why I got it, I guess I thought I wanted a more "grown up" car. Lesson learned—grown up doesn't necessarily mean it can't be fun. An Audi A4 Quattro replaced that car and it was waaaaay more fun!
