BIRDS Open Day - 22nd August
Spoke to Kevin Bird today who kindly let me and a collegue park in front of his shop whilst we visited a Client.
He's invited me n a select few (Cheques made payable to Serjames - C.O. Coutts) e90posters to their party that they are having on the 22nd August. Kevin has just opened up a FAB new site here.... http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sa...05472&t=h&z=18 And wants to show it off to prospective customers. He's planning to get a band in, some good nosh and a beer or two for those that aren't. SO if you're interested and can make it let me know. Plan would be to carry on into the night I think so it should be a cracker, and if you've ever needed an excuse to ask about the Quaife diffs, or the other awsome mods available this would be a perfect opportunity. I think the Birds mobile will also be there which is a very sorted demo car for test rides... SO any takers ? SJ |

lol the car stays a LITTLE cleaner than the bike, did, but NOT by much !
I think they are planning to start in the early afternoon, after lunch, it's a bloody good excuse for me NOT to be stuck in Leeds or something on a Friday, so I'll be there for sure ! SJ |

I'll be just up the road, so I'd like to come along and see what they have to offer.

James has requested an update on numbers for the event, so if you are coming along, can you please add your name to the list.
If you are no longer able to attend, please can you delete your name from the list. Those who have already registered an interest: Steviejay bmwbailey creepy coupe (Have you sold Del? Or did Rodders feck the deal up?) TimsterC dxb335d (Carl, you coming?, or were you just confirming that the 22nd was a Friday? ) Any others? Could we have any responses by Monday night please. Hi Chaps,
I may come down. I will not add my name though. Depends on some other matters I have to attend to. Either way I will not be in need of any refreshments etc, so no need to count me. But I would like to eventually visit Birds and use them for services etc. |

Is now the time to ask for a fast road engine and twin webers for the Midgie?
