First HDR and Spider eating dinner

I was in a state park here in Auburn, AL and finally got a HDR picture. I forgot my tripod but managed

Also I almost walked right into this spider. He was across the whole trail with web. I near about flipped when I saw him. Bigger than a dollar bill!

Did you combine the layers using PS?

no I use photomatrix Pro to combine the exposures and I did some small editing in lightroom.

is easy if you know ur camera. jsut setup 3 picture, 1 underexposed, 1 normal, 1 overexposed. then use photomatrix and it will combine it like magic.

I f'n hate those spiders. They're everywhere up in north FL where I went hunting once. They were also on all these trails when I was a kid and I kept nearly walking into em. They're HUGE.

Oh, and I don't know you views on photoshopping, but I can't help myself when it comes to leveling pictures. If I had CS3 on this comp I'd do it right now, but I don't.

Also, it looks like that f*cking spider from the movie Arachnophobia from the 90's that actually built the fear on me!
