Keep in mind that you won't save that much space. Space saver and regular are the same diameter so they take up the same trunk floor space on their side. My stock tires are 225's and I believe space savers are 175's. So the height difference is 75mm which is under 3". I bought a used matching 400M 18" wheel, put an old runflat on it and bought a nylon type tire bag on the Internet. I can even put it in the back seat if need be. For under the trunk floor, I bought an inexpensive scissor jack that fits BMW at Harbor Freight for $25 along with a breaker bar & 17mm socket. Also bought a Slime 8-minute kit at Walmart for $45. |
