m3>caymans>s5

the only reason id say not to get the m3 is because the lease rates for the m3 are retarded high right now

Nah - I still prefer the M Coupe. I found the Cayman S underpowered when I tried it - no way I'd get the base Cayman.

$4,720 down total including all fees, etc.? Because last time I went they were looking for 3K down and with all other fees they charge it was going to be 6K by the end of it all.

no offense but lease advertisements are for suckers. they are designed just to draw you into the dealership so they can (pull your pants down and) sell you in person.

How much is the miantenance cost over the 3 year term?

I suspect at least $2-3k. When leasing you need to factor the true cost over the lease.

Good thing I am not looking to buy, just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I would say we are all suckers, becuase we see the prices we want, go into the dealerships, and then negotiate the price down to get what we want! So yea, I would say advertising works pretty well

The true cost of the lease is the monthly payment including taxes, plus any drive off fees, plus any cap cost reduction (down payment).

Assuming the $4700 down is only cap cost reduction and does not include all drive off fees, divide $4700 by 36 months to get the monthly breakdown of the down payment. roughly $130 per month.

So with the monthly payment of $650, and the $130, the lease is $780 per month. I think this is a good deal assuming $780 is in fact the total ammortized cost.

$4700 down basically adds about $130/mo. to the mo. payment making the true cost about $780/mo.

In a NJ paper there is a cayman lease deal for 5000 due at signing and 500 a month plus 7%tax thats for 36 months and 10,000 mile a year. They have the same deal for the Boxster. I think its Ray Catena. See it every week in the paper.

Deal of the Month Lease Special
2008 Cayman or 2008 Boxster or 2008 Cayenne Tiptronic
$499 per month

36 month lease at $499 per month with $2,995 down plus taxes and fees.
10,000 miles per year.

MSRP is $54,035 / $52,125 / $51,620
stock # 08-3552 / 08-3643 / 08-3623.

Call for more information. 732-205-9000.
