F1 Driver of the Year 2019 season

Hamilton has collected his champ's trophy and his current team has the Constructors one on the mantlepiece but is he DotY.
The chosen one wouldn't necessarily be the one with the most wins and consideration would possibly be taken into how difficult or easy those wins were and remembering car advantage.
We have our favourite drivers or just the teams maybe but let's base out choices on ones that have driven exceptionally hard in the thick of it, if that makes any sense.
I have my own choice of who it should be but instead of me perhaps you guys can put your choice down and why you think so then I'll come in at the end

5 Poles. 11 Wins. The wins weren't easy. I'm not sure what season you were watching.

8 of 12 wins in the first half of the season. Enough said.

Agreed, he always puts in 100%, most consistent reliable driver. Impeccable tire management despite his radio complaints lol

Ham at the moment, anymore to even up the score a bit keeping in mind not necessarily having the best car but driving like a demon within their pace window.

LEC was very impressive his first season with the big boys. If not for Ferrari's atrocious race management he could have racked up a lot more points.

Hamilton.. stats are clear..
but Leclerc outscored 4 times WDC in his 2nd F1 season better not to miss this despite Ferrari's sabotages and better to remember it was Vettel's 5th year in Ferrari.. and Albon, 2 teams in first season very neat drive he made.. and Norris.. young drivers adopt pretty fast..

Everyone knows that the fans are the bedrock of F1 and their opinion counts the most.So,this year the Belgian Max Verstappen has won a third of all the Driver of the Day awards voted by worldwide fans,that's SEVEN with a stellar 74% of votes in Austria,next was Charles Leclerc on four and strangely Lewis with none.
So no contest,my choice is MAX.
