I've managed to get a BMW BBK for a decent price from my dealer but they are not able to fit it as 'not uk approved' - can anyone recommend a decent independant in the midlands/derbyshire area, the parts arrive on weds and I would like them fitted before my trip to the ring on 13/9 so not much time left to organise it.

Spin,have a word with Ant @ Speedreligion, you might find he can do you a better deal than BMW and fit them for you.

Not a BMW Specialist but I highly recommend D and D in Leabrooks, the old man really knows his stuff, just sold an MGC, little waiting area plenty of Classic and Sports Car mags to read best of all he does a real good job!

There is a BMW Independent in Derby itself who are highly recommended but their name escapes me at the moment!

Speed religion are just a bit too far as in Manchester I think, I managed to get the parts for £600 as a one off goodwill gesture from my dealer (long but boring story) and Ant is advertising for £659 if I join up for £25 pa so at the moment the price looks good but thanks anyway

Now if you want to visit a proper Classic Car place you'll go to A.R. Griffiths Classic Automobiles in Darley Abbey - 5 Stars and 5 Spanners rated MGOC! That place is Classic Car heaven

I'm in your area and have used German Automotive in Derby before for minor servicing etc. Good service and they definitely know what they're doing.

I can ask at work as a few of the guys are BMW nuts as well and will probably know all the alternatives.
