Heated Steering Wheel?

So, there is a heated steering wheel option for the 2009 models?

Can that be retrofitted to my 2007??? Please?

For us, the Heated Steering Wheel option (248) is part of the Cold Weather Package (ZCW) for 2009 3-Series models. There is no standalone pricing for the heated steering wheel option in the U.S., and it does not appear that it can be ordered separately from ZCW here. I've no idea if it is the same in Germany, but options are often more flexible there.

There have been some discussions on the possibility of retrofitting this particular option--most seem to agree that it would, in addition to a new steering wheel with heaters, require replacement of the steering column for the on/off control and wiring support.
