What's a Reasonable Deal on a 2009 e90 328i?
My girlfriend is looking to buy a 2009 e90 328i. How much over invoice do you think is a reasonable price to buy the car? She's not looking for a "steal" price (although if she can get a steal that'd obviously be great). She just wants to pay something where both sides can feel like they acted reasonably and in good-faith. We're in Southern California if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance everyone for your help.

Ah, another one of these. $500 - $1000 over invoice should get the deal done. Good luck.

$500 over and nothing more... maybe even less seeing as you also have an 07 e92. We are talking about the most common car the dealership gets every year, don't overpay and shop around if you can't get the numbers the way you want them.

A fair deal is about 36100-36300. Thats about 500-700 over invoice. Buy it local if you can because if you need anything they are close. Some people will shop FOREVER which is so dumb to save such little money. They shop and shop for hours to save $100-200 which is not worth it if you really think about it. If you dont want to buy locallythen get it from the salesperson you like most if you have spoken to anyone. I am in BMW sales in NJ for over 4 years and can tell you most people who come in and say to me "I want to buy this car for such and such a price" make it VERY easy for me. This is what you do. First just go in with MSRP and tell them you want to pbuy the car $36100 or so. Tell them if they can do it you will buy right now if not you will look elsewhere. It makes it easy for them and you because neither of you have to waste time. Tell them your giving them one chance and if he comes back and says no that you will walk out and go elsewhere. That should work and I dont mind in the least when customers do that as long as the offer is reasonable which your should be. Lastly make sure they include floormats and ask for a copy of the buyers order including all fees. If you need anymore help PM me and I will give some advice. If your near WIll and long beach go to him and he will take care of you great.
