I think you'll have a sample problem.

There is always sampling error when you attempt to describe a population based on a sample of the population.

Quite true, but its not what I said: you will have a sample problem bcs you will not get enough participants to be able to draw any conclusion from your poll.

Limp mode on 9000km (Jan 08 build), dealer told me my fuel bump is going to fail soon but since it is not totally fail yet, so they can't replace it for me under warranty. But they will replace it when I got the limp mode again.

That sucks. So whatever causes the pumps to fail hasn't been addressed. What dates were these replaced?

No technical "failure" but it did throw a code (2FBF) and "SIB 125506" was performed. Three long cranks to date. I somehow doubt that a software update will fix this issue.

It's american fuel, other countries dont have a problem.
So suck it up... maybe a free deregulated market isn’t the way forward. Last edited by HST; 09-16-2008 at 02:14 PM.. |

No failed fuel pump, but I didn't wait for it to happen either. Being stranded on the road or in the middle of a road trip doesn't sound to appealing, so I sold the car even though I thought it was an awesome ride. From the stories on here already, I'm sure there's worse outside of this forum we don't hear from.

Maybe you can add an option where it was replaced but not because of issue but due to recall.
I think most of the people with early 07 cars, got it replaced because of recall. I was one of them.... |

Some people on here have had more fuel pumps than I've had ex-wives.
With a Feb 08 build and 5000 mi. I'm still working on the first pump.
