Work friend told me that Elon Musk is going crazy on his twitter account right now. I don't have Social Media....but something about his stock shares being too high?

Wonder if his account got "hacked"?

I think the money is a byproduct of being the biggest or best in your industry. We're aiming to be the biggest in our industry, and with that comes a company that has to grow to a certain size or value. It's not the money we want, but the pride and satisfaction of being "the best" which is what will take us there. I think it was the same for those 3 you mentioned - at least at one point in their lives anyway.

I think that really depends on the individual's personality. I've met some wealthy individuals who just like being the best, and are often competitive but very humble, giving people. I've also met some where success is an addiction, and they will do whatever it takes to make more money.

Just my two cents, I don't feel that individuals such as Bezos, Musk or Gates go in trying to earn as much as possible; but I do feel like their focus is on their business and their goals, product-wise. I think the money simply comes from providing a product or service that people want. In my experiences and observations, those who try to get rich fail at it; those who simply believe in their vision, product or service become rich in the process.
