Could anyone please advise me on the difference between a 320D MAP sensor and a 123D MAP sensor? Both are the N47 engine. More to the point I need to know if the 123D MAP sensor is more than a 3 bar sensor, which the 320D is. Fitment wise they are the same.

If they are a different part number would it also state the reason of my search?

The reason I need a bigger MAP sensor is due to a hybrid turbo being fitted, injectors, HPFP and a modified fuel rail from a 640D. Due to be fitted is a front mount intercooler and I believe the standard 320D MAP sensor would be a limiting factor

Oh you're looking to go to a MAP that reads higher pressure? I don't know if Realoem will tell that info or not on the BAR the sensor reads. I know for N54 engines people use the F series MAPS, not sure about for diesels though.

Yeah I need a MAP sensor that reads a higher pressure for another remap. The F series ones are a different fitment, the only exact fit is from the 123D but I cannot find any details on it's MAP sensor.... thank you for replying though
