E92 Driver's Side Door Replacement

Hello All!

Recently woke up to the wonderful sight of a cracked driver's side fender, dented door and paint scratches across the entire driver's side (luckily not deep).

I purchased an OE fender and door off car-part, but had some questions regarding the door. I have been told the door replacement would need the door module recoded. My questions are:

1) Should I remove the door my removing the aluminum bolts circled in red or painted bolts circled in yellow? Photo attached.
2) Where is this module located? Within the door itself behind the interior panel or insulation?
3) Can I avoid any coding necessary by swapping out the one module?

Any insight would be appreciated and hope everyone is staying safe!

Anyone?

Edit: Only need clarification as to whether or not the new door will need to be coded and where the door module can be found.

Remove the 2 external torx hinge bolts that you circled in RED along with center etorx bolt on stop bracket. Door should still hold/hang on hinges even with these 3 bolts removed. Lastly, there's a bolt for wiring harness connector which you then unclip to disconnect. Reverse steps for door installation. No coding required on replacement door. No alignment or adjustments needed either. You might need to reset window limits with switch if it does not fully close.

Thanks! It was a PITA to get the door on...much heavier than it looks. Did not have to code anything. Swapped door panels with master switch and did a window reset. Everything works perfectly.
