Cement or the lower left gray cut out from the pic?
Black would be nice!

How much more expensive?
Even used black headliner still goes for $150-$200+shipping. I was quoted $140 to re do my headliner in black. Just need some time to take it Looking at the picture you posted, SB2469 looks like oem m sport rather than the black. |

Curious Where you got those samples?
I've been trying to get a hold of someone at veteranco.com because I need to order more material as my Panoramic sunroof shade started to sag. I already pulled the shade but I am having trouble finding material that matches. I hear they have the actual material vs some of the online stuff being not the same weave, etc. Another option is to go full charcoal micro suede/Alcantara but then I am in the same position where I have grey lights, handles, overhead console etc. |

Damn! this whole shutdown thing has a lot of the smaller online companies taking forever to get back to you.
I already tried a couple of shops in town and they are all closed or don't have a match. Plus I was planning on DIY... I used to do headliners all the time in my audi/e36 days. |

Mine is just my shade, the rest of the headliner is perfect. I'm just an idiot and heard a little rattle and tried to push up on the shade a little while it was closed to see if the creak stopped. When I removed my hand the indent from my hand pressure stayed as the foam was toast on the shade. Within a couple of days, it started to sag so I pulled the glass and then shade, reinstalled the glass, but now I'm in a fishbowl for the last couple weeks.

Liked the sample board as well. Looking for supplier with matching fabric for my 2008 328i sedan. It's a "CREAM BEIGE" but cannot seem to find any supplier with the fabric

Anybody know what is under the sunshade headliner on e91? Mine is about to come down.
Is it hard plastic? or is it particle board? Hard plastic would allow me to tear the cloth down and scrape/shopvac the rotten foam. If it's particle board it would look like hell without the cloth. If the e91 is anything like other BMWs getting the roof out and apart is a pretty big pain in the butt, and I'd rather put it off for a while.

You’re talking about the sunroof right? Half of the foam will be left on the sunroof board and the other half on the fabric once it comes down. I’ve repaired it before with some spray adhesive and left it looking factory. |

That's unfortunate. The cardboard/particle boards looks really janky when it's exposed.
Fixing the headliner isn't a problem, but it's just a weekend project and I have a lot going on. (e36 track dog just broke a diff bushing bolt... ugh) My sunshade is bad enough that I'm afraid it's going to get totally loose and tangled up when opening/closing the roof so I'd like to just rip it out before that happens.
