have been on for a while but first post. need adivise ?
I am about to go in for one year service vist. My car is fantastic. No limp mode . No hpfp problems. Nothing but acceleration and fun. A real good build, I'm lucky.I want to the dealer the other day to make my first maintanance appointment. My SA was with me and I asked nicely that the software upgarde not be done. They assured me no problem if I did not want it. (2008 e92 335I deliverded 10/10/07 ). My friends this car is stock/stock/stock and it flys.
Now my question? What recourse do I have if they go to the current ecu software upgrade, that I have heard causes turbo lag. Is there any recourse in this situiation. Thanks for your advise. Bill |

no recourse - know what your asking for before you ask!
