Hi, I have a sound coming from the engine, it looks like plastic. I haven't had this problem for a long time, but I'm afraid to not be something very serious , until I get to the mechanic. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm attaching the video and please listen to it on headphones because it sounds a bit slow. The sound is at second: 4. I want to add that it is only heard at the first start of the morning, after the engine is cold. thanks !

P.S. The car is a BMW E90 , 318i from 2006 .

Have you checked engine mounts? Have someone else start in and film the engine with the bonnet up on start up.

I have check the engine mounts and is ok . No , nobody else start up the engine , but i can tomorrow to make a video , with cold start-up when i have the hood up .

Yeah good idea, try to get the camera to pickup where the noise is precisely coming from. A neighbor can't start it up for you perhaps? Best to have someone else do it while you're standing over the open bonnet to accurately pinpoint source of the noise.

Hei, i was fix the camera and start the car because at 7.00AM and sunday ... is hard to get a neighbor . So i was upload a new cold start but with the hood open .

You can’t hear anything brother, I could hear you breathing more than I could hear any noise. Prop the phone up under the hood, get back in and start it and let it run for more than 5 seconds. That’s why you’re getting no replies in my opinion.

Are the videos so short bc it only makes the one sound that it is making at 0:04 seconds on this video?

i have cut the video to not be boring . Yes the sound is at second 4 .

i was change the oil pan gasket and Cyl.head gasket , and all is ok ... i was change the filter and oring from oil and 2 days was all ok , no sound , but after 2 days the sound it's return ... All gasketand filtern is OE . Oil BMW 5w30 .
