Mini Northern meet ?

as the title suggests, what do people think of having a northern meeting. I have been talking with another member ( who shall remain nameless at this time

) and we thought it would be great to have a bit of a get together and a drive out or whatever.

anyone else up for this then ? Just an idea at this stage so dates and location and other details not yet planned, but we could get something together if enough of us fancied it....

Suggestions welcome

disclaimer: of course it wouldnt be just open to northerners, any of you from 'down south' would be more than welcome too

North Yorkshire has some lovely roads but is a long way north

It would be nice to have it north-enough for some of the Scottish members to attend, but anywhere north of Bradford would be fine with me.

Would be tacky I know but good fun also I reckon! I really don't like Blackpool but would be good for a fun mini meet, and the cars would look great cruising around!

Ah, but none of you have seen the proper driving roads of Derbyshire ....... the ones no one else really knows about!

Would be of course nice to explore somewhere else though!

Paul, Blackpool!! Wonder what you can spot at Blackpool then lol.

How about Barnard Castle area, just off the A1 for easy access, plenty of good driving roads with scenery and tourist based so should be decent pubs. Not too far for the Scottish guys?

Same reason North Yorks would give Chris, Jules, Paul and myself a distinct advantage - though of course some of us have cars designed for such roads.
