Are these good prices for Floor Mats and OEM Alarm?

I ordered an 09 335 Coupe for $500 over invoice from BMW SF.

My CA wants to charge me for the following:

Floor Mats $130
OEM Alarm $593
Tint $649

Are these prices decent? Or am I just getting raped? Also, is there another place where I can get these for a cheaper price?

i think you should really think about what you are asking. 649 for tint. can you honestly say you don't know if thats a decent price?

i would strongly suggest you go elsewhere for that stuff...

get the alarm from tischer. install it yourself
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=171981

tint...
call vince @ omega tintwerks (925) 227-1322 (in pleasanton)
or
call ray @ mach 3 (415) 594-0029 (in sf)

and have them throw in the floormats.

Check out our E90/91/92/93 Specials Pages @ www.getbmwparts.com . We have the alarm kit for $235.00 and the carpeted floormats set for $90.00. Both of our specials include free ground shipping via UPS within the US.

In a word - no. The only thing I would consider paying that much for on your list are the floor mats, and that's just because I'm too lazy to go buy them somewhere else (sorry Tischer) and $130 isn't something I'd sweat over.

The alarm isn't something I want, so I don't really have an opinion on it, but if BMW is like other car manufacturers and guarantees dealer-installed accessories along with the vehicle warranty, then that might be worth the peace of mind. But the price does seem high there.

649 for a tint is highway robbery, plain and simple.

As others have said, BMW SF (where I bought my car) is way overpriced on window tint.

If you're in East Bay I recommend Vince @ Omega TintWerks in Pleasanton. Good Luck.

What the hell is so special about BMW tint, I dont get it?

The past few cars that I have owned, I got my tints done with 3M tinting film for $130 for all side windows and rear windshield (coupe). A sedan was $150.
I had the tint on for 3 years on one car and no bubbles or anything wrong with them, plus they come with lifetime warranty just in case you scratch them yourself or anything. I don't understand why bmw charges 5 times as much for a damn film.

I was just quoted $425 for the BMW Alarm "port installed", installed at the VPC, for an E90. If you don't want to mess with installation yourself, and your car has not yet arrived in the US, you could ask for that option.

That tint price is ridiculous....I just had mine done and it was $130.00 with replacement warranty as long as I own the car...There are mobile tint guys that will come to you and do it on site for $150.00...Which is exactly what the dealer will do anyway so why give them $500.00 for the hell of it...The mats you can buy cheaper, but for the $25 you would save who cares...

That tint tho...Total ripoff...
