2016 BMW 340i  [0.00]
I have fixed about 90% of my clunks and rattle after retorqueing the whole suspension. I occasionally get a clunk in the rear and some in the front.

First, has anyone tighten up their steering rack that has then solved some other clunks up front? (Bought a tool to do this) See video one:




Second, under +40% throttle I hear this constant grinding noise coming from the rear passenger side wheel. Does not happen when cursing normally or braking. No clue what it is but someone said it could be a parking brake clip. See video two:

when you say the whole suspension, can you list exactly which bolts you torqued down?

Rod End = 32.5 ft. lbs.
Strut Clamp Knuckle = 41.5 ft. lbs.
Shock Damper = 47 ft lbs.
Shock Tower Bolt: 5-Bolt = 22 ft. lbs.
Shock Tower Strut Brace = 41.5 ft. lbs.

Camber Arm = 122 ft. lbs.
Shock Bolt = 75 ft. lbs.
Upper Shock Mount = 20.65 ft. lbs.

I think your right. It may be the E-brake clip right above the drive shaft. The passenger side e-brake clip broke. My rattle sounded a tad bit different and im in a 335 but i cant imagine the clip being that much different.

Originally zip tied the e-brake line and it stopped for a while until the zip tie broke.

Wouldn't count on it holding up for long. Its a good quick fix for sure!
