Squeaky brake pedal doing my head in - help...
hi guys....please see vid attached.
I can't seem to find the ISTA page where it shows the assembly of the brake pedal, only how to remove the spring. so firstly - does anyone know where the actual brake pedal assembly is in ISTA? EDIT....found it in RealOEM............doesn't look too promising this. Maybe i can use some tweezers to pull the foam around inside. If not, or if it doesn't exist.....i think what is causing squeaking is the foam that's inside the grey rubber 'boot'. Either the foam is rubbing against the metal shaft of the pedal mount, or the foam is rubbing against the boot. I tried getting some grease in there but pretty difficult. Does anyone know if i can somehow remove the grey cover easily so i can get to the foam and apply grease everywhere? I wonder if i can get this sorted under warranty...
