If you get the dreaded yellow steering locked warning and non start condition with your car effectively immobilised use this Hidden Service Function to avoid the problems I have recently experienced.

Put key in slot ,foot on brake,press and hold start button for 10 seconds ,car should start.

My assumption is that this function re aligns lost codes between DDE and CAS caused by low battery power because of bad battery or power drain.
