325ci 2006

I recently purchased a 2006 325ci with 60k miles on it. car sat for a while in a garage

replaced battery, replaced injectors , coils and spark plugs , still running ruff and found out it was the electronic throttle body, replaced that , car runs very well EXCEPT. when in park, and you rev the engine it sputters and wants to stall

I removed and cleaned the ICV valve as well.....

No codes no check engine lights , Can anyone suggest what may be the problem

Thanks

I'd first try posting the question in the E46 forum.

You have an E46, not an E90. The 2006 325Ci was a 2-door E46 coupe. The engine is a M54, not an N52. I suggest you join the E46fanatics forum you might get a better response.

Since that's an e46 with the older M54 engine (I think?) you may not get 100% accurate advice here, but I'm sure some people are willing to give their input.

For example, the e90 325 does not have an idle air control valve, so there's one difference, of many.

Oh of course, I should have refreshed the page before making a response or I would have seen others already said the same thing.

Once I had an SA at a BMW dealer not know the '06 325Ci was an E46. Wasted half a day of my time.
