Arghhh! I ordered my car on Saturday, 9/20 and was SHOCKED (and excited) to find that it completed production less than one week later on 9/26. There I was, thinking I was the soon-to-be holder of the fastest order to delivery trophy. Little did I know that my car would be stuck at the port in Bremerhaven for eternity! Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating. Anyway, car got to Bremerhaven on 9/29...3 ships have sailed since then to NYC, yet my car still sits on the pier. And the next ship doesn't leave for another 6 days! Patience is a virtue I definitely don't have!!!!!

I usually dont have enough patience for stuff like this either. Sometimes I wish I could have just gone to the dealership and drive home the same day. BUT, in order to get that ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE, I have to wait. Mine should be here by the end of the month. Like yours, production got completed less than a week too! It's the boat ride that sucks I suppose.

How did you have your car built?

Mine sat at the port for about 7 days. i try not to think about it. sux cuz the boat i could have been on is suppose to land today. The boat im on now isn't due till this weekend.

I ordered my car in early July.
It completed production 9/4.
It got to the US 9/28.
It's been at the prep center since 10/2.
I still dont have it in my garage... and you are complaining?!

There's no way you are getting your car before mine so sit back and relax for another 2 weeks.

My car also finished production on 9/26 and has been at the dock since about the 1st. Don't forget, the Wallenius site is delayed by a few days. Your vehicle could be on the Integrity, which left today and you don't know it yet. I am hoping to get that ship or the next.

I didn't realize there was a delay. However, the BMW 800 # still says my car is at the port "awaiting a shipping vessel." Are both the Wallenius site and the BMW 800 # delayed a few days?

Yes, they are both definitely behind a few days. With my current car I didn't get the shipping info for 3 or 4 days. That car had a delay from the order stage to production, got shipped real quick but then sat at the VPC. I guess it's always someting.

I will post here or send you a message if i get some specifics on my car.

Heh, I have a similar story.

Ordered in July, started production week 37 (Sept. 9th I think), currently should be off a boat in Port Hueneme. I have no idea when I'm going to get my grubby little hands on my e90.
