RealOEM 2 Different Interior Trim Retainers

Going through replacing all the broken and worn out trim retainers, gonna do the door cards themselves next at some point. But going through the car and RealOEM I noticed a discrepency.

The front door trim pieces have 2 different retainers called out, that are 2 different sized lengths. The rear trim pieces only call out the shorter style, item 12. Both trims have the same metal pin part #. I ordered the shorter ones a while back not seeing there are 2 different ones, replaced the rear with the shorter style, and 1 of the front passenger door trim retainers with the shorter style also, item 12. Seemingly fine.

But taking out old ones I'm seeing they are all the item 17 longer part number. I'm not seeing a reason why some pin points would be 1 vs. the other either.

What's going on?
