Xhp stuttering

Anyone else find that with the xhp stage 3 flash when taking turns on hard the car flips out and doesn't let you shift. Not sure why thought my car had a horrible misfire but just yesterday I found that the car did the same thing but wont even shift and limits power for a few seconds until you slow down enough for the car to automatically down shift. Let me know your experience and should I have the trans relearn or is this a problem with the tune.

Garage List
Is this anything to do with DSC interfering?

That can limit things like throttle depending all sorts of things like steering angle, throttle position, wheel speed etc.

Does it still do it if you go into DCT ON, or SPORT+

I had it in sport+ when it happened didn't seem like dsc interference the trans just wouldn't let me shift until I slow down and make the rpm hit 600 then you know the computer will shift itself then it'll fix itself. It wont fix itself until I do that so probably shouldn't be dsc since it wont give me power back until then.

It's definitely dsc. Sport+ doesn't turn the nannies 100% off. If the same thing is happening to you when you hold the DSC button for 10secs to turn it completely off, then it's something else.

Idk would dsc really cut power and not let you shift until the gear rides out like that. Like say I have a constant speed down hill so I wont lose speed and it happened if I dont slow down I will not be able to shift until I slow down to the point of the gear riding out.

You said it's during turns. Dsc will cut power when there's too much slip at the tires. If it cuts power to give the driver time to gain control it makes sense to not let the user shift as well.

Yes I understand dsc would limit the power like that but this seems to be something different never experienced something like this until the xhp flash and the car is now starting to stumble while driving around at a random point the car feels if I hit the brakes for half a second not sure what thats about.

Did you edit any of the custom settings like the shift map?

Always noticed that the car doesn't like the cold but hasn't been like this ever. Might put my stock coils back on and see if the pr coils are messing something up.

It shouldn't be XHP, but there's a simple way to test - flash a different stage or back to stock.

I assume you drove 50+ miles under varying conditions after the flash before driving the car hard?

Ya that's what I'm going to see maybe run the bm3 one again for the time being never had a problem with theirs. just seems odd that I'm having these weird things happen now after I flashed XHP on my car. Not saying I'm blaming them for the issues but once I check everything else out today and conclusions are made I'll come back and let you guys know just in case anybody else is having these problems in the future.

Bm3s flash just removes torque limits on certain gears.

I drive in sport all the time and i found xhp st3 too aggressive for dd driving. So I swapped to stg2 and it drives much smoother for me.
