is it "normal"???
Hey hey!!
I was under my car this afternoon when I notice something weird. I've purchased a f30 335i xdrive last summer, my first bmw. I know that I have the MPE on the car but not sure if the rest of the exhaust line is OEM. It is strangely bended just before the MPE. What do you think? yep, normal.
water is condensation from the exhaust. You're getting an exhaust leak at the clamp. you may wanna try tightening it up.

Thanks for the reply but my question was more about the bend in the exhaust that seems pretty rough and bad quality for a "high end" car. I know that condensation is normal |

My car is in the shop at the moment and I'm also running MPE. But ill check my pipe once I get my car back. But yes check that clamp because thats a large amount of condensation.

Damn my thread was about the bent but I begin to make a concern of the condensation haha.
Yesterday, at the moment I took the picture, there was around 1 big water drop every 3~4sec. isn't it better if the water is out instead of in the exhaust? |

Condensation is to be expected from any exhaust but it shouldn't be coming from where the clamp is. Doesn't mean its a huge deal and perhaps needs to be tightened down some. Yes the weather can also play a role as well. Just tighten it down some and if you are still concerned just bring it to a exhaust shop and have them test for leaks.
