Arrrggghhh..... new alloy dinged!!
Had the car 6 weeks, thought I make it a bit longer before an scrapes, etc. Thing is I haven't scratched an alloy since 2004 (had that car 4 weeks).
So, I was turning off the main road down a side / county lane. Wide enough for 2 cars but no white lines down the middle. Can't see all the way round but as I get 1/2 way round I see a MK3 Golf a bit more centred in the road that I like so I tap the brakes and pull in towards the grass verge. No sign or kerbs or what-not but I feel a wee dunt and hear the dredded clunk. Stopped a few yards down the road to take a look. I'm guessing it was a rock / brick hidden within the grass by the look of the way the tyre is unmarked and its a bit like a 'stab' into the rim edge. Its not bad, but enough to ruin my journey to work So, what ya think, easily sorted at home or off to the refurb guy?

Absolutely no problem to repair - it will be totally invisble 100% fix.
Done it myself : http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81123 Was really pissed off with myself and nagged me until I got it repaired D.

^^ need some recommendations for UK wide or Scotland based 'pros' who can sort this?
I've only ever had one refurbed and it was done via a mate who worked for VW (doesn't work there anymore).
