Bilstein B16 Ride Control vs B16 DampTronic

B16 Damptronic re-uses the factory adapative suspension system while the B16 ride control uses its own system. What are the pros and cons of these two / which one would be better?

Isn't one for use with their controls and one for reusing the factory switch?
