Will this be louder than my current setup?

I have the borla atak now and I used to have CG precision R1 (still in my garage).

If I cut this piece (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-cg-preci...ps/0001r1~cgp/) and cut off my Borla muffler and weld it on, will it be louder than my full borla exhaust?

Or will it be louder if I just get a catless dp?

I'm confused by your question...

Yes a muffler delete will be louder than borla muffler.

Yes a catless DP will be louder than any catted DP, oem or aftermarket.

Now I should have got my CG precision R1 repaired instead of buying the ATAK. I would get it repaired but then I just wasted 2k cad on the atak.

Your question isnt clear. We need all 3 pieces to be able to answer:

? DP + ? midpipe + ? axleback

comapred to

? DP + ? midpipe + ? axleback

Are you asking about OEM DP with borla midpipe and muffler delete

vs

CG precision + borla midpipe and axleback?

I'm going to make a guess and just say the borla mid pipe and muffler delete you posted are going to be louder than the borla atak and catless dp.

From everything i have seen, the borla atak muffler provides little "muffling", whereas the OEM DP vs catless provides quite a bit. So i think catless DP + full borla exhaust is going to be louder than OEM DP + borla midpipe + muffler delete. The best way to get an idea is just look for videos of OEM DP + muffler delete (with or without OEM resonator) and compare to catless DP with borla exhaust. You should be able to find those. They are both going to be quite loud.

De-cat will be louder period. Its a little louder overall but it is much louder and more noticeable in cold-start and also in WOT.
