How do my logs look to you?

Stage 2 93 oct bm3- 435i w/dp, fmic, cp, stock plugs 35k miles

Waiting on PTF to look over a couple logs from today and let me know what they thing. Any one else willing to have a look and offer opinions?

4th gear pulls in manual, shifting around 6500/7000 rpm and starting around 2500 rpm.

Used auto log so I believe there's 3 or 4 pulls in there.

There's only one pull in there FYI.

Log looks fine overall. Good boost control despite low ambient pressure, timing is clean. You do have a throttle closure due to overboost at beginning of pull but nothing major.

Thank you sir. I ran a few pulls before I clicked out of auto log and it said I had "4 new logs". I also see my IAT's are up to 70+ degrees at the end, but it was only about 42° outside. Is that normal? And if you don't mind saying so, how do I tell there's a throttle closure?

Look at throttle angle (%) from 3100-4200 rpm.

Your IAT goes from 53-65 during the 4th gear pull. Goes a bit higher when going into and through 5th. What IC are you running? I would say thats not great but also not bad. Some ICs perform worse. FWIW i see the same IAT rise over a much longer 5th and 6th gear pull: https://datazap.me/u/thejeremyman9/5...0&data=4-10-21

I see basically no IAT rise over a 4th gear pull: https://datazap.me/u/thejeremyman9/4...0&data=4-10-21

I am running the 5'' VRSF IC.

I'm running the very same IC as you. I did do 4 runs in pretty close succession, getting on the highway/logging, and getting off at an exit, turning around and doing it again. Though I don't know if this is the first or fourth, or in between somewhere.

I wouldn't read too much into it then. The delta in IAT over the pull is also going to be influenced by what you did right before. If you sit at a light before the pull, IATs could be inflated and when you do the pull it could seem like they drop or remain about the same (i.e., the air temp at the sensor is high but the IC and ambient temp are much lower). Another factor you alluded to is basically the IC temp from previous pulls.

I didn't know PTF was willing to look at individual logs and troubleshoot them?

I guess I didn't either but I expressed a concern and they asked to see. They said seems pretty solid overall. And I'm waiting to hear back about adding a little e85 to further clean up the timing.

I think that's the way to go, have PTF themselves take a look at their own tune. those dudes have so much data to bounce your info off of, ya know?

PTF and MHD both allow you to email them logs taken on their tunes for review. Note however this is basically just to confirm you dont have a serious problem. They are going to VERY briefly look at the log, and provide you with probably 5-10 words in response. They are not going to give you a full review, tell you what looks good and what doesn't, etc - that's why people post on the forums.

They will only spend more time if you have a valid concern that could potentially point to an issue with the tune (rare).
