Has any one worked out if it's possible to Retro Fit the M Performance Steering wheel with A G20 With "Driver assistant professional" as these have the sensors on the steering wheel and the M Performance one does not come with these sensors.


I'm wondering if there's a way round this issue as I don't to disable the "Driver assistant professional" just to have a fancy steering wheel.


Kinda of stupid that BMW didn't even think of people that have this option.

The only feature I see that is not functional is the steering wheel heating when retrofitting the MP steering wheel.

I can't see these lights in the picture below which leads me to believe it does not have it.

My steering wheel has steering wheel heat but not the driving assistant professional. Looks just like the one below. I tried to look up the retrofit instructions for the MP wheel but apparently BMW doesn't feel that we need them.
