Is it significant in term of HP Gain between each cold air inlet system brand and model? for example aFe or BMS? Which cold air inlet system is the most HP gain?

The air intakes for the f30 line don't offer much in terms of hp gains. They are really more for sound. That turbo swoosh.

There have been some dyno tests that show a 5-10 hp increase using them, but they were hybrid turbo/high boost cars.

On a stage 1 or 2 tune, the intake will likely not give any perceivable hp benefits.

That being said the sound is cool and worth the 2-300 bucks if that's what you want.

Stock intake is a "cold air intake". Most other intakes are open, and are therefore "hot air intakes".

As mentioned above, an aftermarket intake will offer exactly zero HP gain if you are already meeting load/boost targets. If you want to know the nuances of different intakes, read my thread here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1765289
