LED adaptive vs non-adaptive wattage

Noticed that adaptive LED has higher wattage compared to non-adaptive. However, they seem to share the same modules from what I can see. What makes the adaptive LED have higher output? Looking to upgrade to adaptive, so i want to make sure I can just transfer all the modules over from non-adaptive to adaptive.
