Bumper lip screw not holding
Hi all, I thought I might have some luck getting advice for an issue I have with my aftermarket bumper lip. It was installed with some screws on the underside of the bumper but one of them is not holding the lip.
I attached some pics to show what I mean. I tried removing the one the shop installed and putting on a thicker one but it's having the same issue. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to remedy this? |

Wouldn't require you to take the bumper off no, just a long enough bolt to make it through the bumper then the nut to hold the lip on the bumper if that makes sense. I'm surprised where you sourced the bumper from didn't have the proper two long screws that run vertically to hold it in the first place.

Note the MP splitter design uses 2 bolts there - which thread into a T-shaped retention plate which sits above the bumper fascia to distribute the load (so the bumper fascia is sandwiched between, not screwed into).
You can likely fab a plate or something to do likewise...
