Looking good! Nice color combo with MBB and aragon. What's your build week?

Also, curious to hear your thoughts on the 810 wheel vs the 789 wheel.

Thanks!

I'd have to call a Genius to get my actual build week since my CA just told me slated for early April. Looks like I'm a week or two behind yours.

I like the 789M wheels as well but wanted something a little different and from all the pictures I've seen of the 810M wheels so far I really like them.

Nice! Yeah I am week 14, just went into exterior body assembly today.

I considered the 810m wheels too, they were different and looked nice, but then the rolling shots of the 789 convinced me. But they both look great!

Love this build.....Call me crazy....but I love every color and wheel choice for 2021 M5’s. Not a bad option in the bunch.

Thanks! I agree there really isn’t a bad color choice in the bunch. I was also seriously considering Motegi Red with the Midrand Beige interior.

Congrats! I too am coming from an '18 F80 ZCP and awaiting an ordered F90 to arrive. MBB is gorgeous in person, I've yet to find a photo that really does it justice.

Thanks! I might have considered another M3 but after seeing the G80 that's a definite no. I sometimes think it's BMW's master plan to force current M3/4 buyers to M5/8's by making the G80's so horrible looking.

Be careful what you wish for, I suspect the next version of the M5 will incorporate a much larger kidney grille as well!!

I'm sure you're right and I'm expecting it. If that's the case then this will be my last BMW after being a loyal customer since the mid 90's. At least it'll go out with a bang with this M5!

Based on the way things have been going, it may be more like a much larger kidney grille will incorporate the next M5.

I spec'ed my F90 with the mindset that it would be my last opportunity to get a "good" one.

Yeah I agree, after seeing the m3/m4, which IMO aren't bad if you go with a much darker color that hides the grilles, I looked at the LCI updates on the m5 and said this is the car to get before it also changes.

Thanks! My F80 is Daytona Violet, got one of the individual color F80's that BMW was building at no charge near the end of the F80 production run.

Love your build. Mine is similar except the interior and calipers. I love the 810 rims. In person they make me smile every time I see them. I did xpel stealth on my MBB and I love this car. I don't miss my f82 for a second. I saw the G80 in person several times and I personally couldn't love the front nose but the interior is gorgeous....soon we will see a M3/M4 on every corner and meet. M5/M8 does offer some exclusivity still...

Do you have a picture of your car with the 810M rims? I have yet to see an LCI in MBB with 810 rims.

Wow that looks awesome! Thanks! Seeing your car confirms I made the right choice with the 810 rims.

Is that frozen MBB?

Looks great! I didn’t realize that the xpel stealth wrap gave a satin finish.
