New Vid/Tips for Driving

I'm still in my teenage years but am lucky enough to have a FBO 335i. I don't drive excessively fast or recklessly but I took my car for a lil canyon rip and was wondering for any tips or improvements? Here's a video enjoy

Tip - if you want to improve your driving skills, get into autocross and/or track day driving (HPDE). You can't get anywhere near a modern car's limit safely on public roads, so instructed track driving is the way to go!

Here's a good low-investment way to get a feel for it; see if a track is near you!

For start: move seat closer to steering wheel. You arms are fully extended.

That dump valve sounds awful, way too overdone and really ricer-y. Ruins the nice deep sounds the car has on it's own.

Go racing.

You'll kill yourself on the street before you learn 5% of what a race track will teach you.

Since you're in OC, this is the best thing you can do for yourself: https://bmwperformancecenter.com

I just went to the BMW 2 Day M School event and it was the best driving experience I had ever had. You learn more about driving at one of these events then you can ever learn on the streets, as you get feedback from professional instructors and dedicated environment.

+1 for sure. I was going to recommend just this thing - available nationwide fwiw. Much better idea than driving at nearly twice the posted limits on public roads.
