Are the M4 rear windows tinted?

If factory darkened glass is an option for the G8X it's probably only offered in the EU.

ok. thanks. I thought I read it in one of the reviews but couldn't remember which one. I hadn't seen them pre-tint windows before

Here in the UK the 'Sun Protection Glass' (aka darkened rear side & screen glass) is part of the base package, which you can see here:

Just to reiterate, in case you're not aware, we only get the Comp/AT version (in both RW & AWD).

One other nice to have we get in the UK as standard, is the carbon interior package (dash/console trim), obviously the CF buckets are still an option like everywhere else!

Mine was clearly tinted in the back.

You can see the little separation in the dots from tint film

Definitely give your SA a heads up about your couch status..

It looks like 20%.. it's pretty dark.

I thought it was the privacy glass until I took it to my detail guy and he pointed out that it's tint

That must surely be an aftermarket tint then if you're seeing signs of a tint over the gradation coated around the edge of the glass (assuming that's what you mean by "the dots")?

The sun protection glass on my current F82 certainly has no visible signs on being added on.
