YELLOW oil pressure light after turning car off (SOLVED)

Name: CED7DB99-D5C8-48D1-AD70-27C479481B3B.jpeg

Size: 297.0 KB I drove my car about 34 miles in total today but when i got to the driveway and turned off the car the oil pressure light came on... I’m kinda terrified not gonna lie & the light looks like this. (i took this picture from someone else since i couldn’t replicate it) I replaced the oil filter housing gasket yesterday and the serpentine belt but I didn’t replace the sensor yet because I didn’t have the 24MM wrench, so is it the sensor or what? I couldn’t replicate it by turning it on and off a couple times

According to the pdf file I use for checking these lights. That one is for low oil level not pressure. I think I've gotten it before when turning the car off on a steep incline. Have you checked oil level?

If it doesn't come back in the next 2-3 times that you start your car, I wouldn't worry. It could just be a hiccup. My car freaks out when it gets really cold and throw a +1 qt of Oil light but I have checked and everything is good. When was your last oil change?

I did replace the oil level sensor on my car which is an uncommon failure. Something to keep in mind.

My oil level indication gets flakey when it's in the transition zone for the digital indicator.

It'll fluctuate down a quarter, then up a quarter quite a few times before settling into it's new home as the car consumes oil.

I generally don't top it up until I get the +1qt warning on two sequential drive cycles.

My car also throws this light if the front of my car is angled significantly downhill for more than a couple minutes.

the oil level sensor is segments that measure electrical conductivity.

if your oil level is right at where the segment break is, you'll get this.
