Competition badge is black even without Extended Shadowline?

My M3 Competition with extended shadow line DELETION just arrived. However, the "M3 Competition" badge on the back is black. I thought I saw on here that the badge would be silver if extended shadow line trim was deleted but I cannot find the post where I saw such.

So, is my badge supposed to be black or silver (since I deleted extended shadow line trim)?

i believe the comp badges are always black and the base badges are always silver regardless of the shadowline options on either car.

Correct. Shadow line has nothing to do with the badge.

Thank you everyone for the response. It's no big deal either way, I was just curious. I got Brooklyn Grey over Tartufo.

Damn. I went IOMG over Tartufo. Respect. You should post a quick pic with the door open.

I also love the choice to delete the shadowline. I think that a lot of people check that box because it's there without seriously considering if black or silver accents make more sense.

I know that personally I'd much rather have chrome pipes than black out, although it varies by color I suppose.

The pipes were the sole reason I did it. I just think the silver pipes pop more.
