Bought this kit for my 2008 328i. Worked perfectly. Drained and replaced the reservoir with the new reservoir in the kit. Capped the return port on the new reservoir. Then rerouted the steering return flow hose to a bucket via an additional length of clear hose. Added new fluid while turning the steering system lock to lock until fresh new fluid filled the system and went into the catch bucket. Hooked the return hose to the new reservoir, filled to the proper level, and away we go. Not nearly as messy as I would have expected.
