Transmission flash e90 328i help

So I installed the 330i tune from bimmerlabs and all went well. I tried installing the transmission flash but then got an error and cant move from park. I am using the bimmergeeks cable the pro and the expert. I have a 2011 328i. I would like to get it back to stock how it was before. The transmission doesnt show up on inpa to check the zb number. Every other module does though. I havent been able to move my car in weeks.

Have you flashed both parts? Just confirming. I’m assuming you have because you flashed the 330 tune which also consists of the program followed by the actual tune, but thought I’d check.

There are two versions of the GM tune. Do you have the correct one?

I believe it was bluewater328 that had this issue when this flash was first being tested and he flashed it back to stock. I don't know how to do it I have done the dme with zb files when people try to flash N51s with n52 330 files but never messed with the transmission. Maybe he can chime in and guide through the process.

It seems that newer cars don't take well to it. If I was gonna flash any car with it I would not do it on anything newer than 2008.

I used the Gm1912 tune that was in a bat file in the bimmerlabs website. That was the only one available for my car.

There's no "tune" for GM1912. Whatever you flashed - was just a stock file. The RSA delete is for the DME, it doesn't have anything to do with the transmission.

Probably what happened is you flashed a stock calibration that has the wrong program version (or you needed to update the program version to match the calibration). I'd reflash to stock in WinKFP comfort mode.

Anyone who has successfully flash this software on a 2007, please shoot me a PM as I'm doing research for when I attempt in the near future.

I had this issue literally a few weeks ago. Your Problem IS THE CABLE! There is no transmission tune for 328i after 2009. You flashed a stick tune! Reconfigure WINKFP and update it through automatic mode and look for updated Daten files or use the stock tune and flash that. You may get module issues, but it will need to be reconfigured. I did the same thing.

Yes, most likely the case! My issue was cable since LCI models have security issues with the cables. Bimmergeeks cable is worth the extra money! WINKFP comfort mode updated it to latest versions, but inpa has problem recognizing the transmission module.

Transmission needs the good bimmergeeks cable. That was my issue. Without that, it fucks yo the transmission completely. The LCI models don’t have the 330i flash. He flashed a stock tune, I did the same. It is most likely cable issue. Those cheap Amazon Chinese cables brick the transmission completely. Chinese parts destroy it all.

Buy this cable ASAP! Shipping takes nearly a week! So either pay extra or expedite it or wait. Mean time, setup WINKFP. It’s worth the extra money, it flashes fast and with no errors.

Your last resort if all things fail is $300 reprogramming at the dealer. You won’t need to go that far, but just incase. What cable you using?

it's not a security issue - the cheap cables have bad firmware that actually writes garbage data to some modules (EGS modules, MSS60/65 are specific examples). That's why people think you cannot flash anything safely without an ICOM, most of the cables are just junk.
