Wink M6 quicker than a 335d (remapped)

just thought you might be interested but my M6 does the 0-100 in 9.5 secs and a remapped 335d in 12.3 ish.

I think its amazing that my V10 powered M6 is faster than a turbo diesel

whod of thought

Mate the M6 is a monster.

Just find it a shame that a mate of mine is deciding to take the p*ss out of me.

cheers (so-called) bud.

Off topic slightly, how are you getting on with the M6?

There are some serious bargains at the BMW dealers at the moment.

What MPG are you getting? And how does that compare to other cars you've had?

I quite fancy a Silverstone II or Indy Red one with Silverstone interior.

The M6 is simply stunning. Ive had plenty of performance cars and none are in the same league as the M6.

It feels like 90k worth, it feels solid as a rock its fooookin epic, its so fast, so controlable. i cant think of another car that would suit me better.

I get lots of attention as well and so far its all been positive.

If you are concerned about MPG then dont get one im getting 12.5mpg.

It is the car bargain at the moment its totally underpriced. The mrs asked what my nextcar would be? i said another M6

Cheers for the info - they are similarly priced to same age Cayman S's at the moment but cost nearly double originally, and the 911/AMV8's are still way more to buy.

I'm considering getting a bike next year as I miss mine, but that would cost me a lot more than the M6 fuel difference, so MPG isn't THAT important, though 12.5 would be hard to stomach lol

Test drive methinks

When BMW described the M6 as 'the fastest BMW ever' I think they really did mean that it was faster than the DXB

LOL nope not yet bit too vintage me thinks!! I put a pic of a proper M6 because I've been missing my Midgie today seen as I took my computer on wheels to uni and got told off by a man in an Astra for flashing my lights 'cos I wanted him out of the way, 60 on a bloody dual carriageway overtaking a car that was doing 60

Porscha that is not an original M6 as BMW never actually did an M6 it was an M635csi.

I thought as a so called aficionado you would know that

Still the original "M6" though it wasn't technically called that, much, much better looking too though not as fast! You pays your money, mine would be going on the 80's car. Still rather like the new ones as well esp. the wheels!!
