Standard or Carbon Bucket Seats?

With all the threads going about bucket seats or not, I am curious which has the majority...
Let's have a poll to see how many people here actually opt'd for bucket vs standard?

Went for the carbon buckets on my build. It will be a daily driver for me so here's to hoping I don't regret optioning them! 🤞🏻

Carbon buckets are scorching hot!! Freaking awesome. But practical for a daily driver…nope. Not even close.

If you're holding any extra fat I'd say start eating salad

I also wanted the bucket, think it looks so bad a$$ and perfect look to complete the M3... I couldn't get it for Fjord, I tried!!! So I settled with the standard, but as I said it could be a blessing in disguise, since I plan to use my M3 as DD and I may ended up hating it (regardless, I will probably regret having the "look" of it)

Edit: if someone has any breakthrough on how to order Fjord, Fiona and Ivory with bucket in US, please let us know... @calbears has tried, but my dealer could not see the same screens (or flow) he provided

CF buckets were a no-brainer for me. Comfort or not , they look awesome. I'm sure they will be fine for daily driving as I don't even drive much anymore. I think I'd regret not getting them after if I went with the standard.

Ditto. I'm a fairly lean 6'2" and decided to take the risk.

Tell your dealer to contact BMWNA VIP Ordering Specialist.

Changed my order to the carbon buckets after testing them. Using them in a daily driver will be interesting to say at least but they look phenomenal and are quite comfortable.

I've biting them nails ever since I ordered the carbon bucket seats. 5'11" 250lbs is not promising at all. I'm not using mine for a daily driver so, who knows...

Your dealer should know that department and what they do for customers, that’s their job.

I think you're going to have a problem. I'm very close to your stature and while I can fit in the seats, it's just too snug of a fit.

That sounds like it's going to be a real problem dude.

Look on the bright side, it's as good a motivator as any to loose a few lbs!

Too late to change the order? Have you sat in them yet?

I’m 5’10” and 200lbs and there was no option to sit in them and test the fit for me. I sat in the standard seats and liked them so that’s what I went for. Here in Texas ventilated seats are a nice plus too.

Just wanted to make everyone aware that it looks like BMW is now offering the Fiona Red Carbon Buckets. I have an M3 Comp AWD allocation set for 8/34 production week that I was able to modify to Fiona Red with the Carbon Buckets. Tartufo was the only color that was limited to standard seats.
