Feline critters!!

Hello fellow e90ers
I have been lurking on this forum since the end of June when I took delivery of my baby - some great stuff on here.

My query relates to cats!! One annoying little sod keeps jumping on/sleeping on the bonnet of my 3er, leaving fecking annoying paw prints all over the hood.

Has anyone got any tips (other than 'disposing' of said moggy!) to deter it from getting on my car!?

failing that it will be

cheers all

^^ look on web for humane cat deterents. Lots of things like soft spiky rubber, to sparys, etc.

You can try lemon juice/water mix in a squirter or a dash of pepper in water / squirter. A few sparys on said moggy and they'll not risk returning.

BTW, I have cats and would never harm them, these are 'safe' ways to deter cats from being in and around your property. But there is quite a bit of info on how to keep cats away from your property. Cats are habitual / systematic beasites so when they find out they're not wanted in one location they will choose another location and stick to it.

if you catch it at it, throw some water at it. that should deter it from coming back again.

If not, electrify your hood!

There used to be a gel available from B&Q and garden centres for putting around the base of plants to discourage the lovely little critters from leaving their unpleasant little messages everywhere.

If it's still being sold then you could try dotting some around where the car is parked, sort of ring fence it - worth a shot .
