I like the front end but the rear is ugly - I guess that's why they barely show it in the video.

That front end/grill is an absolute no go. Just ugly for no good reason.

Can’t wait to see one in person. Hopefully it will look better than the pictures.

I can honestly say that it doesn’t want me to go put down a deposit on one.

But then again I have so much added mods on my M2 that it would be hard to get rid of it.

Same boat as you and if the transition to M2 is going to be like the new X3 to X3M, that's going to be a hard no from me dawg.

Looks like a Kia. Fitment on that front wheel is looking proper. I'm sure the fellas would find something else to do it. Purple isn't my thing but I bet she drives nice.

With all those increased dimensions, they still can't tuck that B58 completely behind the front axle for a front-mid engine setup??

Regarding the absolute most important aspect of any BMW, the grille....

The size is right. The grilles are (mostly) separated again and don't look like a mustache. I like it. I'd really like it with an all black perimeter as opposed to the sliver/gray outline.

Love the purple, the stance, the side view, the wheel arches and wheel styles. The interior is nice as expected and gives me hope the M2 will be available in non-black interiors. I dont mind the front although I wish it kept some kind of double halos.

It's the rear that I struggle with. Those tail lights scream Japanese. I don't mind Japanese styling, I actually like how the new Supra looks. But I want my German car to look German and that rear end does not.

I'm sure it will drive nice. The weight gain is disappointing, but not really surprising. At least the power bump will compensate and hopefully it will not feel as heavy as it really is.

But now the big question: how's the exhaust note? This probably will be my last ICE-powered new car purchase, if it's not an M2, a Supra or a nicely maintained 981 Cayman. It HAS to sound great. Has it been neutered with a new particle filter like many other cars?
